Business Development Manager - Transport
£40,000 to £45,000 OTE £52,000
A well-established logistics company
The main purpose of the role is to achieve the regional revenue and profit target in line with the annual budget set.
This is a hands-on commercial role and you will be responsible for ensuring the teams sales performance levels are achieved at all times.
You will input in an informed and accurate way into budgeting and forecasting depot performance and control costs in line with depot size.
With commercial acumen, you will recognise when investment needs to be made to support profitable business growth and ensure that the necessary resources are in place to enable the delivery of regional targets
You will monitor and support your team providing regular communications, encouraging feedback and contribution of ideas and initiatives.
You will enjoy working with pclients to maintain and develop existing and new revenue streams.
With previous experience of running a sales team with full commercial responsibility you will have proven success in achieving sales growth, revenue and profit targets.
You will have worked in the logistics sector in a 3PL, a pallet, a parcel or transport logistics provider.
5 years business to business sales experience
With a good level of numeracy, verbal and written skills you will be educated to a minimum of 'A 'level or equivalent standard.
